Breakfast Club
The Details:
1.The name of the overall organization will be the Northern California Business Speakers Association
2. The Breakfast Club itself, (under the umbrella of the Northern California Business Speakers Association), will be limited to approximately 20 members. Only experienced business speakers will be offered membership in the Breakfast Club. Experience will be evidenced by recommendation of one Breakfast Club member or written documentation in the form of testimonial letters or financial records indicating at least 10 free or fee speaking engagements. (May be either paid or promotional in nature.) Guests may be invited by other members to attend one meeting before joining. Membership will be open to anyone who meets the qualifications.
3. The mission of the Northern California Business Speakers Association will be:
A. To provide an opportunity for business speakers to learn how to successfully promote themselves through speaking for free or for fees.
B. To share leads, resources, and provide mutual support for its members.
5. Regular monthly meetings will last 90 minutes. Meeting will be held on the first Friday of the each month The first 30 minutes will be general business and the remaining hour will be devoted to a speaker or group discussion. The facilitation of the second portion of each meeting will rotate among members of the core group. From time to time, we will have outside speakers.
6. There is no cost or membership fee to join the group. However, each attendee will be required to purchase breakfast items and share in meeting space costs. This is currently $14.50 per meeting.
7. Participation in any website or other promotional efforts will be voluntary and may carry an additional cost.
